We are located in Viola, Illinois.
My whole life I have always loved animals, especially  horses and dogs. As a child I had the privilege
of living on a farm and had everything that was animal related  that I was allowed to have, even
birds!  In the 1980's, I met  Pepper Power in Wyoming.  I was introduced to my first real show dogs
and I, of course, became hooked!  I purchased a CH. Sunnybrook Heritage Spirit daughter from
Claywood Kennels.  In doing so,  I found a wonderful mentor in Margaret Wade of Wadegate
Shelties.  What a patient and wonderful woman she is.  She gave me so much knowledge and
treasured views of the breed.  I went to as many AKC dog shows that I could and met Dr. Harler (Jo
Lyn) and I had the privilege of being able to share some of his knowledge.   Marriage, SEVERAL
moves to different states, a divorce and raising 3 sons of my own soon put me on a different track
than shelties.

In 2007, I married a great guy and he shares my love for this breed and, in fact, ALL animals and
relocated to to Middle Tennessee and through friendships here have two very nice girls and now have
my long awaited, a show hopeful, Wintercreek boy called Colt.

I have found  that one of the  greatest rewards in raising these wonderful dogs is the satisfaction of
knowing that you have placed a puppy where they will be loved.  Every year I get calls of thanks
from owners that thank me over and over for their sheltie that continues to make their life a joy.
One of them has a beautiful sable girl, Cheyenne. You will find her on my Performance page, she was
9 years young in 2009. They enjoy taking her to local dog shows and she is so beautiful,  many ask
them if she is entered in the show!  They take a large amount of pleasure in this. You will also find
some of my dogs on the past champion pages.

Be sure and check out our puppy page for pictures of Kaytel puppies.
