| We do all appropriate testing before breeding and all pets are sold on a spay-neuter contract. To inquire about the availability of pet puppies, please email Kaytel Shelties using the email address provided on this website. Please include information including your preference, your family situation and how the puppy will be raised. At Kaytel Shelties, we encourage you to visit us and our dogs and "meet the parents" of the puppies. Health and temperament are first on my list when choosing to purchase a dog or to breed a litter. All Kaytel shelties that are shown or used for breeding are tested for hips OFA, vWD, thyroid and eyes are certified. Kaytel shelties occasionally has puppies available for homes. No pet puppies are sold on a breeding contract. The dam is allowed to be with her babies even after the puppies are weaned, as she still plays an important part in their development. She spends time playing, eating and running with them. She provides discipline that only she can teach which produces a happier, more well-behaved puppy.
